KARACHI: Police officials informed media that a private bank near Punjab Chowrangi in Defence was looted early Thurs
day.
According to police, five to six robbers barged i
nto the bank and made away with Rs 2 mil
lion.
This is the first bank heist of 2017. Last year, 12 bank robberie
s were repor
ted, out of which 10 occurred in the first four months of 2016, while two happened in the remaining eight months.
